Entry Requirements: 4 GCSEs (A-C / 9-4) Or CACHE L2 Qualification
Duration: 1 Year
In this course you will develop the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people in residential childcare. This qualification serves as a requirement under The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Career Pathway
Learners can progress on to the CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (QCF), or a Foundation Degree in a related discipline. Learners can also progress to a higher level in employment within the sector such as residential childcare workers or management roles in residential childcare or social care settings (further development / qualification may be required once in post).
