Level 4 CACHE Certificate – Early Years Advanced Practitioner
Entry Requirements: Level 3 Early Years/childcare qualification
Duration: 6-12 Months
This course will enable you to develop your career and opportunities in the early years workforce. Through daily practice and theoretical understanding learners will be challenged to build on their current knowledge, and develop skills of leadership, mentoring, coaching and reflection.
What will I study?
► Enabling children to learn
► Promoting health and wellbeing through physical activity and nutrition coordination (PANCo) in the early years.
► Working with others to support children with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disability.
► Working with families and other professionals in early years settings.
► Implementing change in an early years setting incorporating a small scale research project.
Career Pathway
The qualification provides progression to a Level 5 qualification such as the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England). It will also prepare learners for further study of early years in higher education.
