Our Story

Discovery College is part of YMCA Plymouth and was founded in 2010 as a modern, innovative vocational College which grew out of YMCA’s successful training department. YMCA Plymouth has been delivering education & training for over 100 years, making it one of the most established independent education providers in the city. Building upon this heritage, Discovery College was formed as a modern response to the current needs of young people; enabling them succeed in the contemporary jobs market.

Today, Discovery College has established a reputation for delivering high quality education and training to over 250 students each year.
