Entry Requirements: You must be aged 16-24 and have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
Course Start: September 2024
Duration: 6 Months – 1 Year
Whether it’s working at a pool, spa, gym, sports hall, on a tennis court – or a facility that has all these and more – a career in the sport & leisure industry is a fun and varied challenge with a diverse range of progression opportunities.
This internship will equip you with the skills and experience needed for a range of careers within the sector.
How does a supported internship work?
You will be given your own expert job coach helping you throughout the programme and be offered a placement opportunity at a local sport and leisure centre.
There will be study time at Discovery College, including working towards an accredited qualification, as well as Maths and English if required.
This study programme will last 6-months to 1-Year depending on your progress and progression plans.
