Entry Requirements: You must be aged 16-24 and have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)

Duration: 6 Months – 1 Year
The outdoor and environmental industries are growing, with a rising demand for skilled workers in landscaping, horticulture, site maintenance, and green space management. This internship offers a structured pathway into employment for young people who thrive in practical, outdoor settings, with opportunities to progress into roles such as Landscape Assistant, Estate Worker, Site Maintenance Assistant, Park Ranger Assistant, or Gardener.
This internship will equip you with the skills and experience needed for a range of careers within the sector.
A few things we’re great at
You will be given your own expert job coach helping you throughout the programme and be offered a placement opportunity at a local hospitality venue.
There will be study time at Discovery College, including working towards an accredited qualification, as well as Maths and English if required.
This study programme will last 6-months to 1-Year depending on your progress and progression plans.
